History
  • Grew up in White Bear Lake and currently lives in rural Hugo. 
    He has two daughters; Lindsay who is music therapist and graduate student at Temple University in Philadelphia, and Liz who is a resident in Orthopedic Surgery/Trauma at University Hospital, Buffalo, NY.  Son, Ben is a 2004 Wolf Creek graduate. He attended Brown College in TV Production, and went on to UW-River Falls where he will graduate with a Communications/Video Production major in spring, 2010.
Experience

 

  • 1976-present: Staff Scientist, Honeywell Labs working in human-computer interaction and cross-cultural design                          
     
  • In 1996-97 worked with the Honeywell Automation College to plan
    and implement their first online learning center.
  • Extensive experience working with people from diverse cultures, particularly the Far East.

Interests
  • Grapegrowing and winemaking; Asian cooking; fishing; in-line skating; stray cats and dogs (which I have a tendency to pick up and take home with me)
