Valley Will Fund Scholarship Program: Scholarship range from $500-$2,500. To be eligible for the program, a student must:
1) Be nominated by the superintendent or other school official

4) Demonstrate financial need

IEA’s 2009 Bruce Bomier Environmental, Health, & Safety Scholarship Program: Three scholarships are available in the amount of $2,000.
Applicants must be:
· High school seniors
· Anticipating attendance at a four-year post secondary school
· Planning a career in environmental science, health and safety, engineering, or a related field
Application & Essay Instructions:
· A 1,500 word essay is required answering two questions:
o Detail one way that human activity has negatively affected our environment and your proposed solution. What can you do to change human behaviors responsible for environmental impact?
o What are your desired outcomes from the completion of an undergraduate degree?

1.) A resident of Minnesota
2.) From a family who is active in agriculture
3.) Graduating from high school in the spring of 2010
4.) Must be active in both agriculture and community
5.) Must be pursuing an education in an agriculture, agribusiness or food science related program
6.) Must plan to enroll in a two, three, or four year accredited college or a technical college

MN Biodiesel
Scholarship: Current high school seniors in
the state of Minnesota with plans to attend postsecondary education are eligible
to submit a personal essay written on the topic of biodiesel. Two
scholarships will be awarded. Due to overwhelming support last year, ALAMN
and MSGA have increased the scholarship amounts. The first place essay writer
will receive a $1,000 scholarship; the second place essay writer will receive a
$500 scholarship.

Minnesota Association of Townships Scholarship Program: $1,000 awarded to six juniors who are currently attending a Minnesota public, private, or parochial high school. Applicants must complete an application form and submit it with a written essay discussing this year’s topic: Grassroots means different things to each of us. What does it mean to you and more importantly, how does it apply to township government?
