Purchased Services Committee

Tom Plocher, Tracy Quarnstrom, Stacy Bender

 

The committee discussed the current contract with Chisago Lakes and agreed to invite 3 companies to bid for the following services during the next 2 months to get an idea of prices in the service arena.

For service list please see attachment marked Service list-

 

Tom Plocher will visit the Designs for Learning Open House on January 24^th and request a presentation at our February 6^th board meeting from Designs for Learning.

 

Tracy Quarnstrom will find 2 other companies who offer similar services at the MACS annual meeting to invite to the March board meeting.

 

In addition Quarnstrom will investigate some services that may not need to be on the contract any longer-

Continuing ed services-can be done through MACS

Career Resource Services can be produced at Wolf Creek

Nursing Services may be able to be purchased individually

Mail service could start at Wolf Creek or a PO box could be purchased

Sped services with MACS has already been discussed with the board at this point

Extra curriculars can be done through providing-enrolling

Transportation should not be on the contract as CL is currently receiving our transportation aid for this-

MSBA policies can be purchased for Wolf Creek access

Food Service

STAR Reporting

 

The committee will have a proposal for the board at the April board meeting.
